The Last Reunion of
"The Bluenosed Bastards of Bodney"
This page contains a few of the images captured by Mindy White's Pentax during the last reunion of the 352nd Fighter Group in Richmond, Virginia September 20-25, 2000.

The flag of the 352nd FG Association flying with Old Glory and the Virginia State flag at "Reunion HQ" AKA Holiday Inn Select.

An Honor Guard Soldier places the 352nd FG wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.
Chet & Cile Harker of the 486th FS visiting with historian Marc Hamel.

On the right Joe Noah, first cousin to George and Bill Preddy and Founder of the Preddy Memorial Foundation examines a P-51 model with 487th pilot Wally Starck.
Mindy White poses with the VANG F-16 that was painted up in 328th FS markings with George Preddy's signature "Cripes A' Mighty" on the nose.

486th Mustang driver Bud Furhman and his wife Queenie pose in front of Vlado Lenoch's "Moonbeam McSwine". Check out that original A-2 and his good luck Mickey Mouse hanging from the collar.
The centerpiece of the display put up in the hangar by the VANG. They really went all out. Many thanks go out to Col. Steve Hicks and his troops for putting on such a great program.

486th FS pilots Gene Paulsen and Charlie Price.
The film crew of the "Last Reunion" pose in front of "Moonbeam McSwine".

Dick Thurman's award winning "Kentucky Babe" TF-51Mustang in the VANG Hangar.
The Fife and Drum Corps which performed during the ceremonies at the VANG Base.

Vlado's P-51 in William T. Whisner's markings looked as if it had just landed at Y-29. Vlado remarked that he had not had a change to wash it in over three weeks. Most folks we talked to liked the fact that it was dirty and thought it looked much like the Mustangs did in WWII.

Mindy and Troy White pose in front of Vlado Lenoch's "Moonbeam McSwine". All of the photos on this page were taken by me (Troy) except the one that I am in and I don't recall who took that one ;-)
