On April 18, 1944, "Ole Puss", a B17F from the 96th Bomb Groups 413th Squadron, heads out toward her target -- Berlin. The 96BG came under heavy fighter attack that day. Ole Puss was damaged and did not make it back to her home base Snetteron Heath. She ended her career with a belly landing at neighboring East Wretham.
