Out of the Blue
This exhibition
features 20+ paintings by Troy White of aircraft
flown by famous aces from both world wars including
Jack Donalson, Kidd Hofer, Anton Hackl, Baron Manfred Von
Richthofen, Gabby Gabreski, Tom Hayes, Hiroyoshi Nishizawa,
Don Blakeslee and British ace Neville Duke. The rogue’s
gallery from Australia includes Clive Caldwell, the feted
RAAF Spitfire Ace and WWI ace Roderic Stanley Dallas with
his Sopwith Triplane along with his contemporaries, the
founders of Qantas, Ace Paul McGinness and his gunner Hudson
Fysh.
