filtering sunlight

dappled irises

concealing insight

soft & sweeping

dust of the road shaken off

dewy teardrops

slide down and glisten

have you glazed over

or are you listening?

It's too agonisingly slow

when all the cars are bumper to bumper

There isn't enough road

in this tropical paradise

A weeping ulcer of exhausting exhaust

amidst timeless beauty

It's France Outre - Mer
