Manfred von Richthofen' s Red Fokker Triplane

The Red Baron's most famous triplane is depicted in flight over the western front against a cloudy backdrop. Rittmeister Frhr. Von Richthofen was the highest scoring ace of WWI with 80 confirmed victories. The legendary Richthofen was killed in action on 21 April 1918 and to this day there is controversy as to whether he was shot down by a British pilot or ground fire.
